The studio officially opened its doors in August 2022. The early days were focused on establishing a flawless benchmark for quality in the local market. 

Unlike conventional garages, Grand Auto Detailing invested heavily in specialized lighting, climate-controlled application bays, and premium international product lines.  

Grand Auto Detailing Studio was founded on a simple but uncompromising principle: delivering Concours-level vehicle care that goes far beyond the standard quick-wash or basic polish. Driven by a deep passion for automotive aesthetics and engineering, the studio was envisioned as a sanctuary for car and bike enthusiasts who view their vehicles as more than just a means of transportation, but as prized investments. 

As word-of-mouth spread regarding the studio's meticulous craftsmanship, Grand Auto Detailing expanded its offerings and solidified its professional standing.

 A major milestone in the studio’s history was achieving elite industry recognition. By securing certified credentials through the International Detailing Association (IDA)—including the rigorous Skills Validated (CD-SV) designation—the studio elevated its practice to meet strict global standards. This commitment to professional excellence eventually led to active leadership and board involvement within the IDA's Indian chapter, firmly placing the Thiruvananthapuram-based studio on the national detailing map.  

In August 2025, Grand Auto Detailing celebrated its 3rd Anniversary, marking three years of successful operations, hundreds of protected vehicles, and a reputation built entirely on trust, precision, and elite execution.
